Response to "Earth on Turtle's Back"

The story "Earth on Turtle's Back" was definitely interesting to read. What I understood after reading was that the earth was being created in that time and that the turtle or animals created earth. I absolutely loved that despite the fact that the muskrat was small he was even more determined to bring the earth up. So many things in that story that don't make sense but if you view it from a different perspective it does. The language they use in the story is similar to the one I use on a daily basis because we communicate by expressing  how we feel and the most obvious by speaking. It is extremely important to read word for word even when rereading. It's very important because it makes the story embellishing. The story might not even make sense but you think it does because of so much detail that was put into it.
